Shua Jackson, that filmmaker slash actor, and the internal repercussions of a life of great uncertainty, adventure and joy bursting forth onto the page. And the occasional indian food recipe.
Antigone: Scene 7 [Antigone Ascends] from Joshua Andrew Jackson on Vimeo.
"Ay. One-7" follows Isaac, who struggles to accept a mission which could destroy his family, end his life, or worse. Erase his very birth.
Cliff Burgess takes on the role of Isaac with Phyllis Jackson playing his wife. The cast also features Marcus Salley, who previously played Creon in Antigone. The film has a long rode of post production. Aside from the usual offline, online, grading and vfx, the film will be my first at implementing CG elements including the time machine which is commissioned to Isaac. Keep an eye out as the teaser trailer will be around the corner!

Today, we shot the epic climax that actually occurs within the time frame of the play, Antigone. The film covers key moments over the entire Oedipus series and the particular scene that we shot today will represent "real time" during the theatrical presentation. I won't give away what happens, but I posted a few stills of the crew on set to set the tone.
Below is Steven Bailey and my awesome wife, Phyllis Jackson, with the Crane and a few C-Stands.
